ASB Help are very proud of PS Wyn Jones of Northamptonshire Police for being the first police officer we know of to activate the ASB Case Review for a case of anti-social behaviour in his area. PS Jones recognised the benefits of the ASB Case Review and by invoking it himself, the case is being managed collaboratively by every partner agency in the area promptly and proactively. Be ahead of the curve and follow in the footsteps of PS Jones.

Hello can you help please. We are in an awful situation which is causing us extreme anxiety. We are living next door to neighbours who play their drums in a shed in the back garden the noise goes on throughout the day at no set times but the noise penetrates through our walls so we can’t have any doors or windows open. On one occasion it started at 8.30am. I wrote to the neighbours asking them politely to stop the noise, I didn’t go to the door because I was nervous about going on my own but the noise continued. I then contacted the Environmental Health who asked me to complete a form as we are classed as being vulnerable (my husband is 71 with a heart condition and he had a TIA 18 months) ago. I have had no response from the Environmental Health dept since then I also contacted my local councilor who has not replied to my emails. Does anybody care can you give me some advice please?
We would suggest reporting your concerns as anti-social behaviour to the council or landlord if you have one. If, after 3 complaints in 6 months no meaningful action has been taken, you may be eligible to raise a community trigger. This is your right to request a review of your case. You can find further information about using the community trigger here: http://asbhelp-co-uk.stackstaging.com/community-trigger/
